As a licensed psychologist I offer a range of psychotherapy services. Whether you hope to start individual or couples therapy, I will work with you to shape your experience and help you meet your personal goals. Therapy involves a lot of hard work. Ideally it is a collaborative process and with the right therapist it can be a transformative opportunity to learn more about yourself and others. With a style that includes validation, empathy, humor and challenges, I will attempt to augment your strengths and empower you to live a happier, healthier life. Please explore the website to learn more about me, my approach and the psychological services I provide. My office is located in the Willows Medical complex near downtown Westport. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
I received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at Vassar College and then a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical and Counseling Psychology at Chestnut Hill College. After obtaining my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with a specialization in Health Psychology at Widener University I went on to complete my postdoctoral work at the Jefferson Headache Center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I was hired as a member of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Medical Staff and pursued my interest in health psychology while also working in my private practice in center city Philadelphia. A few years ago I relocated to Westport, Connecticut and began my private practice here. I work with adults, couples and adolescents and specialize in depression, anxiety, chronic pain, life transitions, relationships and self-esteem issues.
